Keep it simple, stupid!
Kyle Durrie is an art rock-star.
An art-star, if you will.
She travels North America in her van, with her gear, booking gigs in small towns and big cities.
One such gig was outside of The Dawson Print Shop at NSCAD on Friday, where my Intro to Studio class had the opportunity to meet the artist.
Kyle runs a print shop out of the back of her van. She’s equipped with two antique letter presses, drawers of ink and type, and beautiful handmade paper.
We had the opportunity in groups to collaborate on a print. This was my group’s, and our time spent with Kyle, in her van. Glee ensued.
